Allegheny represent, y'all.

Thanks to Jeff, Kate and Greyson, Hadley now has a super-awesome water bottle to drink from.  May the water that leaves this bottle and enters her body fill her with the good sense to attend Allegheny someday and may it also alleviate the evil spirits temping her to go to Bucknell...(Jess obviously hasn't proofed this post).

After the long (but fun) winter, we have all loved being outside a ton this month.  I think Rossi and Sawyer may have missed the nicer weather the most...the squirrels are running for their lives.  We built ourselves some raised beds for our garden this year, so hopefully that will brew us some better results - the only issue will be the little thief of ours, Sawyer.  The lawn still is half dead grass and half alive and there's still some large branches down from the winter snowstorms, so hopefully we'll get some weekend time to work on those things throughout May...especially some chainsawin'.

Here's a few tidbits from the past month or upcoming month...my car needed major repairs and was out of my hands for 2 weeks, Hadley is still not happy about being left on her own at daycare at the YMCA when mommy wants to work out, the Pens are into the 2nd round of NHL playoffs, Sally is graduating very, very, very soon, my teaching year is winding down quickly, Sally and Pete have birthdays on the 7th and 8th of May, the VW bug is back in DuBois with dad, we're finally getting that leak in our roof fixed (I gave up), my mom and dad came for a great visit just recently, and the 1st day of May is on Friday.

Hope all is well.  Here's a few pics to peruse and a video to boot...

Pens vs. Flyers

NHL playoffs are here and once again I am wishing I had cable so I could watch the games on tv instead of sifting through free web feeds just to see my Pens play.  Anyway, it should be an exciting series with the Pens hopefully coming out on top.  Here are a few pics from the first game...

1-year old trio!

This past weekend, we joined our friends in a 1st birthday hoopla. Finn, Abner and Hadley are all about 1 month apart so we decided to have a little celebration with them all.  The Olson Family invited us all out and we watched the three munchkins make a complete mess of their birthday cupcakes.  They dug in to their yummy pear cupcake and Hadley had to protect her plate as Finn and Abner were snatching her cupcake when she wasn't looking.  We also got to see our newest addition to the group - Maia Barschdorf.  Jason and Danielle look like pros at being parents already.  Darcie also made it out with the boys - Liam and Owen to join in the festivities.  It was great to see everyone!

We didn't get a great shot of all three of them so here are three pics...one of each.
